Well this might seem pretty stupid but on the last episode of Friends when it's about to end and Rachel says 'Do you have time for some coffee' and Chandler says 'Where'!? I still don't get why he says that. My sister said it's because they've been going there for so long and suddenly they won't be able to hang out anymore, is that true?
I love Matthew 4eva

It was simply ironic. The friends have been drinking coffee at the same place for years. If someone wanted to drink coffe they didnīt even need to ask where to drink it.

Well sure, ironic might be the wrong word. From now on itīs sarcastic.

yeah well it was good that they ended on a joke about central perk, because if they hadent have mentioned central perk at the end it would have sucked because that's what friends is about, drinking coffee! (well not really but they do drink allot of coffee) but maybe they should have had the final scene at central perk, still it was great. I'm not complaining ;)

Yeh, I liked how they added that on the end. If the show would have ended with Rachel saing' Do you guys wanna get some coffee?' people would be like...'THAT was the last line on friends', but with Chandler adding 'where' onto it turned it into a humourous line. Personally, I think it was perfect, very Candler!

Brilliant epsiode - I loved the way it ended on Chandler's joke! And then the sweep around the empty apartment :(

It was such a typical 'Chandler' thing to say...you have a really emotional scene, and then he makes a sarcastic comment. Perfect. :)

Hi everyone! My first post. Wouldn't you think it could have something to do with that their lives have changed, the show moves on, and so do they? That is, it is time for them to look for somewhere else to go and have the coffee? Apart from being the Chandler joke everybody was waiting for and it is the perfect finale, could it have this meaning? I don't know, but that'is how I understood it.

no, he just said it cos it was so obvious where they would go for coffee, it was just chandler being silly and sarcastic. bless him. it had to end on a bit of a joke
