when is this obession going to end?

i just want to say.. that sometimes i ask myself when my friends obession is going to end.. and like sometimes like it will be a few days and i wont menchion the show to often and i'll realize it and say to myself like oh no i cant stop being obessed.. and then i come on to this website and i its like all of a sudden like i check one of the threads and like i cant stop thinking of this show, i watch my dvds, read my books, go on sites, look at pics.. its INSANE everyone does a great job on this site it really keeps us obessors..well--obessed and i wouldnt like it anyother way..so i just wanted to say thank you, you're doing a super job keeping this amazing show around :) hehe it's looking to me like im just going to be obessed .. well FOREVER hehe

i know my girlfriend who hates the show wonders when that will happen..it is just a show that makes you laugh when you are down..it has great characters you just can't help loving and then you make references to episodes or have a phoebe sing a long you just can't help but love it...these were all great actors and for all of us it is our dream to meet them and tell them how much we loved them. there is the great quotes and the moments that you will forever remember ...like the candle lit room where chandler proposed to monica or ross ready to say his vows as we cheered when he slipped and said rachel..the football game, joey wearing chandler's clothes, the births of ben, the triplets, emma, and the twins...forgive me i am in a sentimental mood..we shouldn't be ashamed of our obsession...friends forever.

Well.... "Friends" was by far the best show ever so I will never forget or stop loving it!!! But also now we have "Joey" and hopefully eventually "Friends" charactors on that so we have much to look forward to!! And with all of the "Friends" dvd's coming out and all right now! How could we forget! I am a proud obbssesor and I always will be too!!!!!!:04: :03: :P :D

You know, part of me thinks Joey will really not make it. I watch the show every week and enjoy getting to see at least one of the friends, but it's just not that interesting. They need to come up with more interesting plots, it's just not as interesting as Friends was. Like, during commercials while watching friends, if I needed to go to a different room to get something, I would sprint there and back to make sure I didn't miss any part of the show. But with Joey, I just take my time and it's like "yea, I'll get there when I do."

Yeah. I agree with you that Joey might not make it. I think it's not that interesting to us because it's not the same writers as they were on Friends. So they can't capture the same essence as the writers on Friends.

In Holland the last episode aired December 27th, so it's not that long a go. But I think my obsession will NEVER end. It was just such a great show with such great people! It feels like they really became my Friends, and I could never forget my Friends...I will love them forever!:D

i am such an obsesse freak and my friends call me friends freak, however i'm so pround of it... the 6 ppl always keep a smile on our face even after the show is over.. Joey on the other hand i dont think he'll ever reach to the top as friends did but i still hope it does cuz after all hes one of the friends.

My obsession won't end until Joey is over at least! Even though Friends ended May 6th, first now am I starting to realize that it's over. So, after Joey it might take a loooong while to understand that it's all gone. Allthough, I can't be so obsessed for the rest of my life either. So, I don't know, I think it may continue far ahead in time, but that's not a bad thing either.

For me i dont think it will ever end. Friends has been burned into my mind and soul and its not leaving and i think thats a good thing. Its a great memory and it will still be enjoyable in years to come and they probably wont take reruns off tv for a long time

I used to be a mad XFiles fan, but when the websites and showings declined my love for it has decreased dramatically. Friends on the otherhand has increased, the sites are still active and they show it alot still on tv and sky. Obsessions may decline some in time, but that doesn't mean you will ever go off it. Friends have made such a impact on lives its unbeleivable - I reckon it will be around for a long time and ill always love it :)

my dad asked me the other day.. what is with you and friends, your crazy you waste-- and i stopped him and i said dont ever say friends is a waste of anything.. keep going and he said oh never mind then hes like but whats so special and i just couldnt explain it but i just seriously i hope it never ends for me because i am a very proud fan and although in a way a do agree joey is not nearly as good as friends, i back the show 100% because i feel that its the right thing to do, support our FRIENDS. So even if it is the worst spin-off even if it only makes it 2 more episodes, i will make every attempt to watch it and keep it on the air because i dont want to let anyone down :) FRIENDS ARE FOR LIFE <3
