TOW: Young Love
Background: This is set after 401: The Jellyfish. Ross and Rachel stayed together after they got back home from the beach house. Monica and Chandler get together. Phoebe and Joey are single.
Summary: How would things have gone if Ross and Rachel didn’t breakup a second time?

Chapter One: Lobsters Reunited
Scene: The beach house: Ross is in front of the two doors of Rachel’s and Bonnie’s rooms, trying to decide which to choose. He decides to go to the one on the right
Ross: Hi.
Rachel: Hey you. Ross closes the door and goes over to the bed and kisses Rachel
Ross: Okay, I’ve got to go breakup with Bonnie.
Rachel: What?
Ross: With all that’s been happening I hadn’t had the chance to go up to her room yet.
Rachel: Can’t you just send somebody else up to break it off with her.
Ross: I don’t think I can trust anybody else to do it.
Rachel: Yeah, you’re right. If I was in the same position as you I’d do the same thing to.
Ross: Goes kisses one last time on the lips I’ll be back before you know it.
He exits
After he’s gone Rachel decides to just collect herself until he gets back. So she goes on ahead freshening herself up before going for a swim
Scene: Bonnie’s Room: Ross is still working up the nerve to figuring out how to break it off with her
Ross: Okay, this is it. There’s no turning back now.
Enters the room revealing his balded girlfriend
Bonnie: Hey sweetie I was thinking we can go and sign up for those surfing lessons we looked at in the brochure last night.
Ross: Yeah, Bonnie before we go and do that we kind of need to talk.
Bonnie: What about?
Ross: Our relationship.
Scene: The Kitchen- Chandler, Monica are there
Chandler: So what are you saying I’m not good enough to be your boyfriend?
Monica: No, it’s just that you’re Chandler, relationships with you last only a weekend or less.
Chandler: I happen to let you believe that I’ve lasted way more than that.
Monica: Really, who?
Chandler: Merlyn Chase middle school, we lasted for six months. Then I caught her cheating on me with one of the head football players.
Monica: (surprised) well that’s better than when I had my relationship with Richard. You even got passed the ballpark.
Chandler: Hey through it all I didn’t come off it to well.
Monica: Remorse Way better than me.
Chandler: Hey cheer up you just had a tough year back then, it got better for you.
Monica: You would think.
Chandler: Come on you just need some relaxation. Get your suit and I’ll meet you down at the beach in ten minutes
Scene: Bonnie’s Room- Ross is breaking it off with her
Ross: Things aren’t working out the way I’ve planned.
Bonnie: Sincerely what’d you plan?
Ross: I just don’t see where we’re going at.
Bonnie: Explain.
Ross: The thing is, there’s somebody else.
Bonnie: Who?
Ross: It’s Rachel.
Scene: Phoebe’s Room- Joey and Phoebe are playing Chess such like Checkers
Joey: You know we should really learn to play the real way.
Phoebe: I like our way.
Joey: Hey want to make it interesting.
Phoebe: How much?

Phoebe: A little cheap don’t you think.
Joey: Hey I can’t stand to lose to money from a friend.
Phoebe: Come on friends bet with each other.
Joey: I just don’t want to lose what we’ve got going here.
Phoebe: Hey I’m letting it happen this time, so try me.
Joey: All-right then let’s pull for the forty bucks.
Phoebe: What are you kidding me?

Phoebe: All-right I’ll pull this time but next round we each end up taking off an item of clothing.

Scene: Bonnie’s Room- Resuming the fight
Ross: Bonnie I’m sorry things were fun while we were together. But I have to follow what my hearts been telling me.
Bonnie: Are you seriously going to be spending the rest of your life with her like you said the first time around.
Ross: Those things can’t be answered.
Bonnie: Just listen to you Ross you are so typical!

Ross: I thought when I came up here we could be Cybil toward each other and we can go past from this.

Ross: I’m just doing the right thing.
Bonnie: And the right thing is to go back to an ex-girlfriend and give the relationship another chance.

Scene: The Beach- Monica an Phoebe are tanning while Chandler an Joey are playing volleyball
Chandler: You girls should come and join us so we can have some actual competition.
Phoebe: No way we’ll be going home on Sunday and I need a good tan after this trip.
Joey: Weenies!
Rachel approaches the group in a hot pink bikini
Joey: Whistles Sexy mamma!
Rachel: Hey I’ve got to get something out of the day, might as well tan.
Monica: So how’d things go with Ross?
Phoebe: Yeah, did you approach anything.
Rachel: Why do you guys think such, we’ll be taking things slow this time?
Joey: Your telling me you didn’t celebrate in the bed.
Chandler: There not you Joe.

Scene: The Beach Tree Market- Ross is alone browsing
Manger (Cole): May I help you.
Ross: Yes, I just recently got back together with my girlfriend an I want this trip to be memorable to her. So what do you have that she’d be able to treasure?
Cole: We do have quite a selection?
Ross: May you recommend the most eligible.
Scene: Rachel’s Room- She’s packing when Monica enters
Rachel: What’s been going on with you?
Monica: Well I hung out with Chandler most this whole weekend, him revealing secret.
Rachel: Hmm Chandler.
Monica: Funny, isn’t it.
Rachel: How about your come packing.
Monica: Please I did it at seven this morning.
Rachel thumbs at the diamond necklace she wore that Ross bought her
Monica: Your not thinking of returning it.
Rachel: See Ross thinks I return every gift I get but I always keep the things that are memorable to me.
Monica: Got you!
Enters Ross
Ross: Everybody’s about packed.
Monica: Seems that way. Exits
Rachel: Softly So.
Ross: I brought you the Mars Bar you asked for.
Rachel: Oh I couldn’t possibly eat this alone.
Ross: Split it.

He breaks it apart an hands her the other half

While she’s eating it slowly it suddenly gets caught on her tongue
Ross: Need a hand.
He then locks his mouth onto hers and they start roaming each others mouths enticed with all the peaunty caramel
Rachel: Ooh Ross.
Ross: I know it’s so good.
From outside the door
Monica: You two lovebirds about ready Phoebe is getting gas for the cab so we can head back home.
Rachel: Just a sec Mon.
Monica: We don’t want to be late?
Scene: The Cab- Phoebe and Monica are in the front, Chandler, Joey in the middle seats, Ross, Rachel in the back
Chandler: Who pulled the straw of letting the kissy twins sit in the back seat and make out the entire trip home?
Monica: Shut up Chandler, at least they make each other happy; and that all that matters.
Joey: Hey Ross you mind if I take a turn next come around.
Ross: Hell no Joey!
Monica: Anybody hungry.
Joey: Yeah Mon lets stop at Subway an I’ll order the ultimate Sub with a large coke.
Chandler: Dude is that all you think about this time of day.
Joey: Hey when its ten thirty and I’m on the road I expect to be fed.
Ross: Now you’re ordering us around.
Joey: Hey when Joey’s hungry he can’t hold it in for long.
Scene: Monica Rachel’s Apartment- Monica and Chandler are entering
Chandler: So you need help unpacking.
Monica: No, but thanks anyway.
Chandler: So what you said back in Montauk your truce is not going out like a guy my type.
Monica: Try to understand me if we had met on a blind date I’d probably not take no for an answer.
Chandler: So I’m not half bad.

Scene: Central Perk- Everyone’s there discussing the trip
Joey: Boy that vacation was something I really needed to just have a little change of scenery outside of work.
Chandler: Joe your job as an actor is not as stable put forth the rest of us.
Joey: Hey, I try to work just as hard as anybody so it’d take credit toward.
Chandler: All-right I was just messing around a few.
Rachel: talks to Ross The fun for me was getting back together with you.

Rachel: It was hard enough having all the sleepless nights alone.
Ross: But from now on we’ll stick together through it all.

Chandler: So how do you guys think the date went for Ross and Rachel?
Joey: Well in my head by now there probably back at his apartment fooling around in the bedroom.
Phoebe: Ooh Joey your aura is nothing but dirty.
Monica: She’s right you’ve got to quit messing with people’s minds.
Joey: Hey do I get judged by everybody from now on.
Phoebe: No we’re just having a little fun with you Joey.

(Enter Ross and Rachel hand in hand)
Ross: Hi guys what’s going on?
Chandler: We’re just discussing you two.

Monica: We’re just glad you two have finally found you way toward each other without all the complicated situations.

Ross takes a seat in the armchair while Rachel sits on his lap
Gunther: You guys are back.
Chandler: Yeah we got back a couple days ago and it turned out great.
Monica: (Depressed) For some people.
Phoebe: What?
Monica: Never mind.
Chandler: (Noticing the uneasiness in the mood) Well I’m going for a walk Mon want to join me.
Monica: I guess. (Chandler and Monica exit)
Scene: Central Park- Monica and Chandler strolling around the park
Chandler: So your feeling all-right you seem kind of depressed lately.
Monica: (sarcastically) I’m fine, just happy for my brother and best friend.
Chandler: Really?
Monica: Yeah, I just wish I’d be able to find somebody like them.
Chandler: Come on Mon you have awhile to wait for this to happen to you in the near future.
Monica: (Staring at him intently) I guess.
Scene: Central Perk- Phoebe and Joey are there

Joey: Sure has, and we owe it all to going to the beach house.
