It seems to me that ever since the show ended, life has been pretty hard for the guys. Jen and Brad separated, JOEY isn't doing too great, Matt's daughter is sick, and Matthew's having health problems (among other things). The show should never have ended, we would all be better off if we still had our friends! :P

yeah but think of our friends that good things are happening for...jen and brad split...but think of all the great movies to come...derailed, friends with money, and her sho west award....jen is defintely in the future of the movies....lisa with the comeback on hbo ...can't wait and the fact its produced by former scribe MPK of SOTC...it will be good...matt 's show is getting better and was renewed for another season and the busiest of the friends...madgascar on May 27, doing Some Girls on stage in London and all his directing assignments..david... hopefully matty will be better soon we always wish him the best and yes there needs to be a reunion.

I would have loved for the show to have stayed forever,but realisticly it wouldnt have been fair to the actors...it was 10 years that they gave us,full of laughter and tears and wonderful memories...I appreciate that.

I dont think it would have been realistic for the show to go on forever,they were getting older,and people start to move on with their lives and i cant imagine 30 something year olds sitting in a coffee shop every day for the rest of their lives.

yeah do we want our friends at like .. 50 drinking coffee in the coffee house still together?? and i know it was VERY sad wen they went off the air, but it was best that they went off with such a high rating and at a time where EVERYBODY loved them .. if they went on till they were 50 yrs old, people would hate them and get sick of them..

It ended on a high note :)
In a way it would have been nice if it continued, but it may not have ended so well. A one-off R+R wedding would have been nice though, as alot of fans would have been happy to see them end on a great high. Shame problems have arisen for the friends, maybe some of them problems wouldn't have come up if it didn't end maybe.

I see your point about the money side of things...but I believe the actors wanted to go onto bigger and different things and focus on their families etc...It wouldnt have been fair on that level.

But hey...Course I wouldnt have complained if they had of stayed,I aint crazy :P

I can understand why they had to end the show. I wouldn't have said no to another 10 years though. :P
But I'll keep saying that: they owe us a ross&rachel wedding!! I mean we've been waiting to see them together and happy again for 7 years. However we just saw them together for only 2-3 minutes at the end. :(

always when one of the friends cast is asked about friends that stopped and why etc, they always come this ridiculous argument:

"it was probably the best 10 years of my life, but all good things have to end."

i really never understood that, really...... why? that is no valid argument to me! why stop the best thing in your life if there is no particular reason to stop it? it kinda makes me mad when they say stuff like that, they must've some better reasons!

it is irratatin.

it seems that Court is the only one who's actually had real luck after friends endin, with Coco, and her strong marriage, and her tv show. everyone else seemed to lose everything. she must feel kinda fortunate!

feel so sorry for matthew and his health problems, he was doing so wel....

I don't really know if all the problems everyone is having is really related to Friends ending. It may all be a coincidence. If Friends would have picked up anohter season would Brad have wanted to wait on Jen? or would their split still have happened. Its true for Matt that he would be on a more successful show but his daughter may still be sick and so on for the rest of them. So many good things have come for them though since the show ended. And like people said before TOW All the Funerals doesn't sound very appealing. It ended at a good point (more of the R&R story wouldnt have been rejected though)

I would love to see R&R together now, but i fully understand why they chose to end it now. They left in the publics good will, whilst everyone still loved them. I mean fans like the people on this site would never go off it or start to dislike it, but i know people who felt Freinds was loosing it's touch and wasn't as good. So maybe leaving whilst they were good, was infact a good thing. I mean i don't think it wouldn't of been fair on the actors, to make them stay, Leaving it where it was, was something all of them wanted to do, so i think it's best to keep them happy... afterall they have kept us happy for so long! lol I miss friends alot, but it's somehting that will never be forgotten....

and if it had gone on for another season whos to say that Ross and Rachel would have gotten back together in the 10th season? they got back together because the show was ending....we may have had to wait another season to FINALLY see those two together again...

yes i think , i really wanted an RnR wedding. why don't they do it in Joey , but joey doesn;t see chandler and the other once any more but now it just like that their friendship is over you know its weird , why don't they just do the wedding from rnr in the joey show and you can see phoebe with kids and chandler and monica with their twince you know

I think its kinda selfish for all of us to ask them for another stay on forever... i mean i LOVE friends but they have given us 10 years and i think its unfair for them if we keep asking them to do another season.... now they have more free time so they can work on other projects or spend time with their family

I totally agree. As much as I would have LOVEd the show to go on like 10 years more, it's true that the actors apent 10 years of their life and now they have more time to family, and movies . So I'm just happy that the cast still are making tv and movies :D

is it really that bad from us to ask them to just strech the lifespan of the most wonderfull chapter of their lives? i mean they all said it was the best time of their lives, is it that selfish to ask them to just let that great chapter last a bit longer?

The show ended at the right time. Even though I'd love them to go on forever, the writers would have run out of ideas. It was bound to happen. Not to mention, Jennifer Aniston was very keen on making movies, and the others are off doing things they enjoy. Courteney's a full-time mom and loving it. I do want to see a reunion special eventually with them all returning and seeing how the Friends are years later, but right now I think all the actors are doing what's good for them, and after ten years of making us happy, I think they deserve that.

I know that Lisa Kudrow is also doing well since the show ended, don't forget about her! So Courteney, David, and Lisa have all had great luck after the show ended, 3 out of 6 ain't too shabby!

well, yeah it kinda is.... i mean although they said that they had the best time of their lives... they stuff that is more important.... i also think that having a reunion would ruin the way that the writers ended it.... i mean it was the end of them all living together but the beggining of a whole different era

Jennifer's not toing too bad either! Maybe her and Brad split, but I don't think that has anything to do with the ending of the show! Plus, she has 3 new movies coming out- I'd say that's pretty good. I wasn't aware that Matthew was having health problems again, what is it exactly?

yeah her movie career is excellent so many movies but her private life hasnt been the best but i do think she is getting over it and is happy again.

On the one hand I would have like them to stay longer...

On the other hand, for me everything is a closed chapter:
-Monica and Chandler moving outside the city, having kids, growing old..
-phoebe and mike married, thinking about having kids..
-Ross and Rachel back to getter.. (and I like the idea that everyone could have his own idea about how it's gonna go.. It always has been the mayor storyline in friends, so give the viewers there own chance to end it the way they like..)

Joey didn't have a good ending in friends, still alot of things could happen to him, and we can see that now on the Joey sitcom...
