The Crystal Maze

Anyone remember this show? It's being shown on Challenge at the moment, but was shown on Channel 4 in the early 90's.

It was such a great show, we felt that it needed its own thread. Favourite zone was the Futuristic (loved all those lifts and robots!), and Richard O'Brien was of course the best host.

The best games where those ones where there was a dead guy and they had to find clues to solve it. Also the water games where fantastic (like the one where they had to walk across that pole that turned and feed the God).

Anyway, enough rambling. Discuss. Favourite zone, favourite game, favourite host.

oh my god i remember this show! i was really little but i still remember watching it with my brother when i was about 5 or 6 i think. It was really good!

I still watch it on challenge on Friday mornings (free period)

my favourite game was prob that one with the remote control truck thing. It was an automatic lock in.

I liked the Aztec zone and the last zone the most.

Early nineties TV in Britain cannot be beaten. It was a golden age of TV.

I also liked the Krypton factor, anyone else watch that? tis a similar genre of gameshow.

awwwwwwww i used to love the crystal maze, it was absolute genius, i wish i had skyyyyyyyy so i could still watch it :(

OMG, The chystal maze... it was soo good! Not n as much as it used to be though now, but i still watch in on sky on chellenge tv! It's great lol

aww i miss this show...iremember me n my brother used to watch it every week.....this thread brought back so many memories.
Richard O'Brien was an amazing host....ill always remember his blad head...lol.
idon remember the zones and other stuff like tht its been years since i saw it.
