Us Weekly has reported that the Emmy-nominated actress, also known as Mrs. Ben Affleck (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000255/), has given birth to a baby daughter in Los Angeles. According to the magazine, Garner had labor induced on Wednesday night (her official due date was December 8), and at press time it was unclear whether the official birthday was November 30 or December 1. What is known is that Affleck was by his wife's side during the entire procedure, and according to the magazine, the little girl's name will be Violet. The Daredevil (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0287978/) co-stars, who didn't start dating until each had ended publicity-friendly previous relationships (his with Jennifer Lopez (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000182/), hers with Michael Vartan (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0890232/)), were married earlier this year on June 29. After an eight-week maternity leave, Garner is expected to go back to work on her TV spy drama Alias (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0285333/), which will be ending its five-year run in May.

Violet is actually a family name, but i dont know whether its from Jen's family or Ben's family, and her middle name Ann, is actually Jennifer's middle name, i think its a very cute name, cant wait to see a picture of her!

I agree with Sini. She seems like such an amazing mother. You always see her out with Violet, even if it's just to the local store.. She could have easily got a nanny to watch her whilst she went &did some shopping, make it easier for herself and all, but she chooses not too. I think that's a great thing to see in Hollywood these days. There's very few parents that choose to actually look after their own children as much as they could.
&she most definately still has her dignity. She's such a sweet person.. The way she comes across in interviews &things, she just seems to approachable and friendly. I love it when they don't let their fame and fortune get to their heads.

You know, I think I would have to go for 13 going on 30.
I loove that movie so muuch. Whenever I feel a little down or, if I'm feeling ill, I always watch that movie &it never fails to lighten my mood. it's genius.
She's such an amazing actress in it &so soo funnyy.
I also lovedd her in Juno. Infact, I would have liked to have seen more of herr.. they could have done so much more with her characterr, I think.
I cried near the end.. when you saw her with the child &everything, and then on the wall was the note from Juno. Loooved it.

She's just so hands on &wants to be a part of her little girl's life so much.. It's really nice to see. Because like I said, although it seems pretty normal to us, when you look in Hollywood, it's completely different. &i'm so glad she's not following the majority. And I also love the fact that she's still prepared to work aswell.. She's doing it all, and seemingly pretty darn perfectly! lol

here in italy juno is only now in the cinemas and I want to watch it as soon as I can!!! I love jen! she's my favorite actress!!
