I think it's David.
I mean, i read somewhere that he doesn't to be known forever like Ross, so if it'll be a reunion show, i think people would feed that.
I don't know.
Might be any of them.

i really don't think it's true!! i mean, this site has proven to be not very trust-worthy, so... and i don't think lisa would reveal such an information...

i dont think that its true, and if it was true, then i dont understand why one of the guys doesnt want to do a final reunion show, its not like they have to do a lot of reunion shows!

Former FRIENDS star LISA KUDROW has confirmed the hit TV series was all set for a reunion show, but one male cast member refused a multi-million dollar salary to make a comeback appearance
No, they were not ready for a reunion. The producers and cast said so themselves that they would not do it for a looooong time. I don't believe this article at all.

I do not believe the article one bit. firstly I hv never even heard of this site that has published this article. if it were true, dont u think the newspapers wud be ready wid all kinda stories?
secondly, y on earth wud lisa, I mean lisa alone speak against any cast member like this? if I remember correctly, it was the girls who asked for a wrap up, coz courteney was pregnant n cudnt film any more episodes as she was visibly pregnant towards the last few episodes. also jennifer was ready 2 start a family as she mentioned on Oprah. also david crane, marta kauffman n kevin bright assured on the same show that there wont be a reunion. n anyway, it too early for a reunion. its jus been 2years, not that long.
n plus every1 is busy wid something or the other- jennifer wid her movie releases, courteney with coco, lisa wid her producing n stuff, le blanc wid Joey. i think its all bull ****! no truth there watsoever!

I take all articles in this vein with a huuuge helping of salt.
No, I don't think they will ever do a reunion show. Part of me is sad about that, but ultimately I wouldn't want them to do anything to ruin the great ending that already was. I think I've made my peace with the fact that Friends is already a closed chapter as far as reunion shows are concerned.

This could just be another rumour .. Lisa wouldn't take the risk of saying something like that ?

I think the whole thing is another rumor to gain publicty and fuel the fires about the public's interest in a reunion, as i said before , if there wasn't any possibility of one, then it would be dead and buried and not mentioned so much..i can't picture lisa saying this , and all three of the guys even though at present time are VERY busy.... matt is still technically working on Joey, matty is getting ready for studio 60 , and david is rehearsing for broadway... i think any one of them would jump at the chance to play their roles again with the three greatest leading ladies ever....

as much as we all want a reunion show, i think it's best to put it off for a few more years. reruns still abound everywhere in the world. i do not think that the Friends magic will lose anyway so maybe in 2-3 years it would be okay.
anyway, of the many sites i read that brought this piece of news, a lot has said that it's david who refused. well, IF it is true anyway, i'm sure he has valid reasons.

neeeeeeeeever gonna happen. And i don't think anyone of the cast refused a reunion episode or show because i don't think that offer or suggestion was ever bought to them by NBC or more importantly Bright, Kauffman and Crane. It will end up being in the hands of the 3 creators and they don't want to do it. No one agreed to anything and no one declined anything because nothing was bought to them. The cast has moved on to different things, and the cast probably doesn't want to do a reunion episode, they all loved how it all wrapped up so it should be left alone. I mean maybe a reunion show or special in 10 years time where they look back at their time on Friends but thats it. Alot of you should have realised by now that all those little internet articles and little newspaper articles about the Friends reunion or anything related is false.
unfortunately it is true

Don't know if this is true (hope not) but the news is also published by TV Guide Online:
SOME FRIENDS: "I'll be there for you...." "And so will I." "Me, too." "Count me in." "I'm game." "Eh, I dunno about this." That's pretty much the scenario that's being reported by Newsday regarding a Friends reunion. Five of the sextet were into the idea — and Kathleen Turner even claimed to have been approached about reprising the role of Chandler's father — but, Lisa Kudrow is being quoted as saying, "One member has said no. It's one of the guys. I'm gutted." C'mon, after Joey, would anybody really miss Matt LeBlanc if the show went on without him? I hear Ugly Naked Guy is available to fill in.
But they say the source is Newsday, which is NOT a reliable source and more like a tabloid, so... anyway, I don't even believe that Katleen Turner was aproached in the first place and that they were actually planning a reunion right now. It's just bull****.
If there is a reunion, it won't be until a few years, because it's useless to do it now, it's just too soon!

I think you're right because when David was promoting his last film (some small indpendent film that was shot in Alantic City), he was on a talk show in Philadelphia called 10! (it's kind like the Today show...in fact, it airs on the NBC affilate & comes on after Today) & he all but dismissed the possiblity of a reunion. I think his words were if the creators wanted to have a thing that would tell what happened to the six after the finale, a book would have to be written.
Sounds like he's dismissing it.

I GUARANTEE you this is true, & I GUARANTEE it was David who declined. I've said it many times before & I'll say it again--I KNOW there was a possibility of a reunion. I'm not guessing, I'm not going off of internet articles, I ASKED Matt LeBlanc when I met him in September. His exact words were: "I'd do it in a heartbeat, yeah. But so far I'm the only one that's in...we're just kind of waiting on the others now. But if one of them refuses it's not gonna happen." I'm not even making this up, I asked about a reunion & that's what he told me.

these rumors are getting worse , first it was some male cast member and now the finger is pointed at the one who the press labeled discontented and the one who was the hold out in the second contract negotiations... i believe there is talk of a reunion because there has been way too much publicity to not think of one happening but this is just going to make the actors enemies with this kind of rumors started... david did direct joey after all so i don't think he is , and if he is, he is one of the more successful ones in terms of working since the ending with two films, two plays , and he is now going to direct some girls in la....

Not likely.
They should at least do a reunion interview, which I can guarantee will happen eventually, where they can just talk about what really is going on...
My hunch is that Schwimmer wants to get away from Ross, and the others probably understand where he's coming from with that. Also, he was probably the leader in negotiating so if Schwimmer says the money's not good enough, then the money's not good enough. Maybe that's what Kudrow meant...

why do you say that...what do you know...what did you hear :01:
When? :D
Somebody posted that Lisa was on a talk show in the UK and said that there was no truth, however there is really nothing to verify that.
Here is an interview/article with her from April 7:
She wrinkles her nose at the mention of any kind of reunion, but says she would like to get back on to TV. "I think I will have to wait a while, though. I think, on network TV, I'm still Phoebe to people and it would be hard to convince them otherwise in the bright lights of a sitcom." Is that frustrating? "Not at all. It's fair. I'll accept being Phoebe to people for a while longer, given how much fun it was. That's totally fair."
http://film.guardian.co.uk/interview/interviewpages/0,,1749068,00.html
"Wrinkles her nose" doesn't mean denying that it was an issue, it just means that she doesn't want to do a reunion, sort of...

I think it will be one of the two Matty's because,
Matt LeBlanc - Has Just completed the diasterous 2 sreason run of Joey and may not want to ruin the friends name even more
Mattew Perry - From watching the final season I could tell he didn't want the do it any more, his acting wasn't as good as the other seasons.

My bets would be on David Schwimmer, just because has is a Theatre Guy and I figure he would be of the mindset of 'not ruining the shows image'.
Although there is considerable reason to believe one of the Matts is responsible, considering this was true.

I think it's rumor. Not true ! I thought Lisa was loyal, so she'd never like blame one of the guys for the whole reason taht they're not doing a reunion. I just think it never was a question, I don't think they've been thinking about a reunion, well maybe, but I think that it's been just for fun, and that is always has been a NO to a reunion.
