I love that movie. Especially when he kisses her after that family dinner. Oh my God. Wow... And you know when she has the baby and everything he's so loving and attentive to her. Same as during the ultrasound. I could totally fall in love with that guy in one night.

I was watching Almost Heroes...I just got on DVD

No offense to Matty or anything but I bought that dvd too and was quite disapointed. I thought that "Almost Heroes" was VERY stupid. I didn't like the movie hardly at all and I've only watched it once since I bought the dvd two years ago. I don't know if anyone agrees with me on that but I didn't like that movie very much. I was very disapointed, I think that Chris and Matty could have made a MUCH funnier pair with a better script... of course now we'll never know.:(

I thought there were some aspects to Almost Heroes that were a tad lame, but I thought Matthew was really good in it. And I'm not just saying that because he's Matthew Perry. But yeah, the script wasn't that fantastic but for what he had to work with Matthew did a fine job.

Now see I totally and completly 100% agree with that. I think that given what he had to work with Matty was a brilliant actor in "Almost Heroes". This has nothing to do with him. It has to do with it not being a good movie. And I just personally think that he could have lived if he would have passed on that particular script.:P

I was coming home on the bus, all by my lonesome *pauses to accept consol from anyone giving it out* and the driver put a movie on, but the bloody picture wasnt working, only the sound was! And this guy starting talking, and it took me all of two seconds to recognise Matty's voice, so I squeed, then got upset cause I couldnt see it! But the driver fixed it after a couple of minutes, and it turned out to be Serving Sara, which I guessed anyway, cause that's the only Matty movie I havent seen (since he started friends, I havent seen any of his work prior to friends) So I started watching it, marvelling how handsome Matty looked, and then, 10 minutes into it, the taped got chewed up! Now, you would think that in this day and age, the bus station could invest in some dvd players, but nooooooo! So, not only did I not get my Matty fix, but I had to sit by myself for three hours, listening to the guy behind me either snore or talk loudly on his mobile...sigh, lifes a bitch!

I liked the scence w/ Amanda Peet where he was freaking out & was venting for like 5 mins.:rolleyes: I thought it was funny w/ him & Amanda in the bathroom area when she took her clothes off. Well, obviously you're going to see a little bit of Chandler in whatever he does, because the characters are played by the same person. The whole point of acting is that no two people can play a character the exact same way, which therefore means that no one person can play two characters completely different. But I think he's done an excellent job in creating the character of Matt Albie, and Matt is clearly different from Chandler. He just has a couple of little things that Chandler does, and hell, he looks a lot like him. :D So yeah, Chandler is part of Matt, but Matt is part of Chandler, even though he came second. Because they're all really the same person (Matthew)

I watched The Ron Clark Story last week and I don't think his character has anything in common with Chandler! I think he has already proved that he can play all sorts of characters.

That’s true, he has proven that. In The Ron Clark Story he was a completely different person, very gentle, not neurotic at all. Also in Studio 60 he’s fundamentally different.

And after all, more or less what Rachel said, you can’t get out of your skin. That’s the same with every actor. I’ve just seen two movies in a row with Brad Pitt, and if the clothes had been the same, you could have exchanged scenes.
