RPG (Role Play Game)

Ok, this has been played on other forums and I'm not sure if it has been played here. I can't look through all these pages!!

So here's how it works.
RPG (a.k.a. Role Play Game) works like this: Six users from TV.com will choose to play the role of one of the six characters from Friends. The fastest six --well, five, since I'm one one of them-- who get to choose their role will only get to participate, sorryand please don't pick a role already taken.

Now we have 2 options: we either create a new episode and each user will have to post a message with what his character might say, responding (or not) to the previous post. We may either create one, being in any season or one being after the FINALE. YOU CHOOSE!! didn't get it yet? just pm me to get more info.

We had two RPG's a while back, run by Princess_Consuela. We'd advise you not taking part yourself, but taking more of a supervisory role over it as you will need someone to take control of it when scenes get too out of hand. It won't run itself, and you'll need to do a lot of work keeping it on target and coming up with ideas for scenes. What Ceci did as well was take all the dialogue and combine it into one big story at the end, and we know how much she sweated over it. She had to remove a lot of "ramble" as well. She posted which characters would be in each scene and what they'd be doing, so the story stayed kind of on track. But even still it got very off track in places. It will need a definite end as well, so make sure you've worked out a story from start to finish.

You'll also probably need accessory characters, because just the six probably won't make a great story.

So yeah, think it through (we know Ceci did a lot of preperation for the RPG last time) and good luck with it ;)

We'll try to find the old RPGs. RPG1 went straight through to the end, RPG2 kind of stopped early because it got very very out of hand after Ceci went on holiday.

Okay, I have the plotline (summary) for the episode ready. It is an episode to be taken after Season 10 where R&R and together, but not married, C&M have the twins, and PHoebe is married to Mike.

It's a Thanksgiving episode to be called The One With The Thanksgiving Host:

With Phoebe & Mike, Ross & Rachel, and, of course, Monica & Chandler, all being couples now, they each want to host Thanksgiving. Monica says she's done it for ten years and shouldn't break tradition now, plus, you know, she loves hosting. Chandler can actually see why the others would want to do it. Ross & Rachel say it's time for her "hand over the torch" sort to speak, and Rachel really wants to because it's her first Thanksgiving with a conventional real family--husband and child. Well, boyfriend. Moncia says "No way!" that she can't cook. Ross's argument is that he has Gellar blood, he can cook. Phoebe & Mike also want to do it, because Phoebe wants to make a tofurkey and says for once they should not eat real turkey. Mike thinks Monica should "step down" too, but doesn't have the balls to tell her that. And Joey of course isn't happy about the tofurkey, and doesn't care who cooks, as long as he eats.
