Do you think there should be The Break Up II??

I loved this movie..
but I know that there are lots of people that hated the end of the movie...
I thought would be interesting if they made The Break Up II, showing how Brooke and Gary are now and if they still have feelings for each other... and maybe they could end up together :)

I was thinking the same when I was watching the movie. I kinda liked the end, it's different than other movie's ends. But I don't know if I want "The Break up II", I don't really see where it could go.. following two lives for half an hour? I don't know if people would like that. The interesting thing about The Break Up is that you don't know if Brooke and Gary are actually getting back together.

i think that they left the movie off with too many thoughts and it would be good for some closure but since jen and vince broke up they probably wont do one

no no no no no, gosh no. the film is soooo fantastic if they made another one it would ruin it, plus i thought the end was fantastic, in my opinion they were going to get back together. it wasn't a typical hollywood ending which is what Vince wanted so i really doubt he will then turn it into a typical hollywood film. but i pray they don't do it.

They were thinking about making a TBU 2 and on part was in brazil. There was even that video where they were trying to speak portuguese, very funny BTW:lol:

I say they should leave it at that. Sequels aren't really that great if you think about it (that is just my opinion) :)

I think no because i wouldn't want to risk it not being as good as the first one! But if they are going to do one, i think they should do it in about two years or so because its too close to the first one.

I did actually enjoyed the movie, but I don't think there should be another one. There are countless examples of movies labeled #2 that just appears to be crap or more or less the same thing than the first one so pointless. None of the movies that really succeeded in pulling a #2 are in the same category than The Break Up. They are generally action or thrillers or sci-fi... and that's only because people do like when things blow up :P

I personally didnt like the movie, was just another romantic comedy. And there is lotsa movies of this kind, and many were far better then break-up.

She should make some movie in style of Good Girl or something, not these movies which will be forgotten after 3-5 years.

no...i think don't think that movie was made to have a second part b/c how that movie ended, they would probably get back togther, and they wouldn't have much more of a story line that could go w/ the title "The Break Up" unless they broke up again, but that would be stupid

and when I first watched the movie I hated the ending, but then a day or so later, after I thought about it, I really liked the ending, b/c they seemed to be happy to see each other, and I liked that.

To be honest with you i didnt actually like the end but somewhere i think they did the right thing, cause it is The BREAK-UP. And if you watch the other ending you see that the still care about eachother. But no i dont think there should be a break-up II. I like the way it is right now :)
