Found a blog of a private person who happened to see Matthew Perry.

"Anyway, just after the above picture was taken I caught the eye of the person standing at the window outside and staring in. It turned out to be Matthew Perry. So I quickly turned to Martin and said “you’ll never guess who’s standing outside” to which Martin replied “someone from Limavady?'’ (which wouldn’t be that unlikely, we often meet people from home in the strangest of places). So I had another conspicious look and he was with Hank Azaria and Kevin Pollak.

A few minutes later they came in and took their seats 2 tables behind us so I had plenty of opportunities to have a good nosy. They were with a lady I couldn’t put a name to so I asked Martin if he knew who it was. He turned around and told me it was Farrah Fawcett. I didn’t think it was her so I had another look and it was Meg Ryan. Poor Meg, it’s not good when someone mistakes you for Farrah Fawcett. As the evening went on they played games including the one where someone puts a sticker on your forehead and writes the name of a famous person it and you have to guess who you are. Kevin Pollak was Michael Douglas and Meg Ryan was the last to work out she was Dennis Hopper. Maybe they should just have used their own names.

Funny thing is I checked a web site dedicated to Meg Ryan and guess where she spent he time after the holidays???? You guessed it......Hawaii

What I meant by "glorified" was that they are a tabloid in disguise. I mean, they want to be considered a "legit" source, however, a lot of their stuff is either lies or stories that use old interviews and articles and they pass it off as an "excuslive."

I read a very similar article in Star magazine. It sounds like it could be true but I'm not sure.:06:

I think that article is from Star magazine. It makes me wonder. He spent the Holiday in Maui and an eye witness (not media person) said he came into a restaurant with several people, one of them being Meg Ryan. It was also written that Matthew and Meg were seen dining togther in Hollywood at Christmas. Someone on this board pointed out that Matthew spent Christmas in Maui. Do we know that for a fact? Maybe he went to Maui right after Christmas.
Something I've noticed about Matthew. When he is seeing someone we get very few pictures or written news about him. When he is single he seems to be out at the clubs. The last new pictures I've seen is from from the SAG Awards. In fact the latest pictures have all been from events. I know he's busy with Studio 60, but he usually finds time to catch a cup of coffee or a movie.
One other thing, Matthew is very smart about what he wants to be public and what he doesn't. For instance, I watched an old video of Matthew standing on the side walk talking with a group of people. One of those people was that tennis player Jennifer (don't remember last name). Anyway Matthew left and started walking down the sidewalk. Jennifer stayed by the group of people and she started talking on her cell phone. Then she started walking down the street. Guess who's car she got into? That's right Matthew Perry's silver BMW. And just as Matthew pulled up to the corner, some big guy stood between the camera and the car and blocked the view. Obviously trying to avoid gossip. So what I am getting at is this, Matthew can be clever if he wants to avoid paparazzi. so I think we will never know if he is really dating Meg Ryan unless they make some kind of commitment, then maybe they will make it known to the public.
I think he is seeing someone and it could be Meg Ryan. What do the rest of you think?

See, here's the thing: I don't think there's any truth to it. I mean, there's been very little talked abou it in the States & the only ones that did mention it were Star (which is a glossy tabloid) and US Weekly...and they're not even sure if it's true or not (trust me, I read the article). The only stories we've mostly heard were from European gossip reports & that's what it seems like everyone else is using.

He was charged with it but they did a massive payout with the hotel employee so it was settled out of court. In terms of the court date he had afterwards in the state of NYC, he was put on a bond for I think it's a year or 24 months (can't remember the exact details) and if he breaks it (aka does something like that again) he'll lose his visa and be banned to work in USA.

I know it isn't true, but it was so funny, on Late Night with Conan O' Brien they do this bit called "If They Mated", where they take celebrity couples and mesh their photos together to show what their child would supposedly look like, even though it's just really taking the worst features from each person and making the scariest creature they possibly can. It always comes out hilarious, and it looks nothing like any child (I hope). But they took the rumor of Matt Perry and Meg Ryan and did one for the two of them. It was funny. And the picture of Matt they used was one of those red carpet pics of him where he has wide eyes and he's smiling, and after Conan said "Matthew Perry and Meg Ryan have been rumored to be together", the picture came up, and he said "apparently he's just been told about it."

I'm not sure I believe that bit. Why would Matthew need to ask for advice on how to befriend children? He is very good at talking to anybody including children and has a lot of little sisters and a brother.
