oh my god ... matthew did so well in this true to life story shown in TNT ... he was funny, serious, dramatic all in one ... i loved this story ... try to catch it :01:

It's on DVD. Mine is on it's way. I got it on EBay. However, when I bought mine I purchased it for $18.95. I was really lucky. There are people bidding on the others and right now one of them is up to $102.50.

I bet the person I bought mine from is kicking themselves for listing it as a buy it now.

^weren't those DVD's the ones that were sent out to the Emmy's voters "for your consideration?" That's what they send to them so they know what they can vote for. Some people vote and then sell off the DVDs

It is on again on Saturday. Maybe you can see it then. I don't know if it would come out on dvd or not. I guess we will have to wait and see. I taped it off tv so that I can see it again because it is a TNT original movie so I don't know if it is just strictly for tv or not.

I cried seriously twice! first when shaneikwa(sp?) hugged Mr. Clark cause she didnt wanted him to go and oh my god when Taysawn got beaten up and he layed on the ground with all the blood oh my god !! :17: i was weaping weaping weaping! :17: MATTHEW WAS AMAZING!

You know I have been reading different reviews about Studio 60 and there was alot of hype prior to the show's premiere, not to menton several Matthew and Bradley appearences. What I don't understnd is why the same thing didn't happen with The Ron Clark Story. I think that movie was one of the best career moves Matthew has made, he did an exceptional job playing Mr Clark. I sure hope he is reconized with an Emmy next year.

I wouldn't say very.
No? But I got the impression it was more an idealistic than a commercial movie. From what I read about it I think sort of the general design didn't really catch on, but for the most part it was positive about Matthew.

I saw this movie *ahem* twice *ahem* on the same night *ahem*... can you tell I'm a fan? LOL
But anyways, I thought it was pretty good. Matthew proved that he could act in dramatic roles. I hope to see more movies with him soon.

saw this first time yesterday.
Matthew Perry was great as the teacher Ron Clark. But yes, same old cliched story line, but still enjoyable mainly due to Perry's performance. 3/5.

I just saw it yesterday! I loved it, and not only because matthew was in it. Although, he did great job in it! I was glad to see matthew playing a more dramatic role so well.

I haven't read all of the comments under this thread but I'm pretty sure that nobody has mentioned about the Ron Clark Story winning a Family Show Award. Ron Clark actually accepted the award. This is the first time I saw clips of MP playing Ron Clark.:07: Someday I'll see this movie. It does look really good.:)

I saw this movie a few days ago and I love it. Matthew did a great job. It was hard to get this movie because I'm from Germany. Now it's one of my favorite movies and not just because of Matthew. :D I have seen a lot of movies with the same story line, but this was definitely the best.

I am from Germany as well and I must say yeah, it was somehow hard to get! I love it as well, I am not particular a fan of stories like that, because in my opinion they have been overdone, but it was a great movie and I admit it, for the most part I love it, because MP starrs in it. Yes, I am that shallow!

I bought the DVD the other day from Barnes & Noble. It only took one day to be sent. I've seen it before though because I had it recorded. I'm still mad he didn't get nominated.

Ok, I cannot say I cried--I could see how you could. Yeah, I'll admit he was very good. He definitely put himself in Ron Clark's shoes. However, I thought Ron Clark has a lot more energy from I saw of him on the People's Choice Awards unless he was just pumped up. Otherwise, he still did a very good job. I'm glad he played role that is amazing & inspirational.

^Yes he did! And at the beginning when it showed his biceps ... I almost fainted. lol.

But I do think he did a great job on the movie. His acting was great.
