Nah. That story is 3 years old and i don't think it's true.

I can already predict that most people will say that they don't think it's true.It seems to be common among alot of "Friends" fans.Stuff that makes the cast look good = true,stuff that makes them look bad = not true.Doesn't really matter who the source was.Don't take it the wrong way,but that's the impression I've gotten.
But whatever, I'm gonna share my opinion anyway.I know I'm overanalyzing,but I'm trying to make a point.

As someone who is a fan of the couple both on and off-screen and have "followed" their relationship since the rumors first came out(almost 3 years ago),I can say that I'm convinced they definately were more than just friends.They have in fact never confirmed or denied in the press that they were dating and they most likely never will,seeing as the media basically stopped caring as soon as their relationship was exposed.And it doesn't seem to me that they're intentionally hiding or anything. Andrea has done several interviews afterwards where she's brought up "Joey" and mentioned Matt LeBlanc,but no one ever asks her about the dating rumor at all.Therefor there's no need for her to confirm or deny anything.Obviously Matt's not gonna say anything, as he's not really in the spotlight anymore at all.

Other suspicious stuff:
- Matt and Andrea never seemed to be really close friends to begin with, and by that I mean it seemed like a strictly professional work relationship,nothing more, while Matt and Drea were super close and were constantly goofing around.
The next thing you know, Matt and Andrea are being lovey dovey and extremely flirty with each other(reported by reliable source) at the same time as Drea is rumored to be really pissed off about certain things happening on the set(strongly believed to be the Matt/Andrea situation).Obviously the fact that she's been bad-mouthing the show afterwards kinda fuel those rumors and makes it seem that her and Matt don't keep in touch/aren't friends anymore.
- August 11th,2006:They're spotted running together early in the morning in Runyon Canyon.The very same day he visits her on the set of "The Class".
November 2006: Matthew Perry is fixed up with Lizzy Caplan who he was introduced to by Matt Leblanc.How would Matt really know Lizzy unless he met her through Andrea?I just can't picture Lizzy and Matt being longtime friends.
- January 2007: Paulo Costanzo says in an interview that Matt and Andrea are two of his closest friends and that they see each other all the time.
- February,2007.They're in Adelanto , CA together at a motorcycle event.Andrea also reveals that she loves riding motorcycles(Matt probably had some influence on that one).I also think it's kinda funny that they're practically wearing the same outfit to the event(her maybe wearing some of his clothes.That again makes you wonder).

This is to name a few.They certainly seem to be spending a lot of time together for someone who are "just friends".


I know there are people who still don't believe this happened and don't want to believe it.And trust me I get it.We all love the "Friends" cast and want them to be as lovable as their characters also in real life.This just isn't the case with most people.
When it was first reported that Matt and Andrea were dating(the day after the divorce announcement) I just couldn't understand how these two could possibly work as a couple in real life because I still saw them as the characters they played.Obviously later on I realized that they probably are more compatible than I first thought.Seeing as Andrea is apparently very different from the "Alex" character"(what do you know).She seems more outgoing,less uptight and used to be quite the party girl.

In my opinion,the rumors about them are way to strong for it not to have been true.They were all over the internet,in magazines,newspapers,news channels(even CNN)."VH1 All Access" made a story of it and they're also listed on "Hollywood's Sneakiest Affairs".And we're not only talking about one source.These people obviously were close friends with the actors or worked with them.If it wasn't true, they would've defended themselves a long time ago as the reactions to/accusations of an affair, were in fact pretty bad.

If you strongly believe they're just good friends,than where did his close friendship with Drea go or even the "Friends" girls for that matter, who worked with him for 10 years?It doesn't just disappear because you got yourself a new "best friend".Matt's practically only been in the media a few times a year the past 2-3 years and about 75 % of them have been about him and Andrea.Go figure.

You guys are kidding right?!!Of course they're dating.Just because they aren't in the media like Jen and Courteney doesn't mean it's not true.And just because you never really hear anything about Matt anymore doesn't mean he has locked himself up in his house since his divorce and never goes out anymore. Him and Andrea Anders have been seen together countless times since then and were having drinks/dinner together just last week. I guess most of you have been living under a rock then or don't really care to do some digging to even find out what he's been up to lately.

^Yes,I agree.People can ignore or deny it all they want,but for someone who's been following both actors pretty closely since the rumors first came out,I can say without a doubt that the dating story is 100% true.And they're still seeing each other by the way.I can't exactly say the same for Matt and the girls from "Friends".
