seems to me that you are a linguist here, and I'd like to tell you that there are tons of amazing fairy tales within Chinese culture.

to name one out of a billion: "Hou Yi She Ri" phonetically,"后羿射日" in Chinese and i'm sorry that i am unable to give u a exact English version.

the tale is about a young hero who shot nine suns down the sky with his bow in favour of his local people.

plenty of them...
