When I was watching it today, it made me miss Friends soooo much!!!! I love the show and it's incredibly funny but I guess I just have to get used to it just being Joey and not the other five. But I really do love it and I can't wait to see next week. I loved Joey's speech about change. It was really sweet.

I think it was great, I miss Friends but it had a good premiere. I was when Joey was talking about letting go and moving on, I didn't think I could hold the tears, that was SO sad!

it was ok...I think they can only take the dumb joey jokes so far...Joey was my favorite character on Friends, and his stupidity was funny because it was in moderation and shadowed by all the quirks of the other characters. this episode and all of the Joey promo's revolved around Joey's stupidity, and the jokes get lame after awhile. I don't think it will last unless they explore more facets of the character. and his sister, the neighbor, and his agent are already annoying.

i laughed so hard at the show...drea is awesome as gina...i loved when they talked about the relationship that gina and joey had...kind of reminded me of our favorite brother and sister..sniff sniff..michael is such a brain...but very shy...i remember reading in an interview..that matt said paul reminded him of david a little i could see why.

I didn't see this topic here, I should re-direct the one in the other section here. Anyway, the episode was fantastic, Drea was absolutley awesome as Gina, she's already got it down. The agent made me laugh more than anything with her gigantic head jokes and the barrel between his shoulders, was laughing so hard. I hope she'll appear in every episode, more than a re-occuring guest star, she's really funny. I just wish Ashley Scott still had the part of the married neighbor, but i'll get over it. Great start to a hopefully great run! LeBlanc deserves it!

Well, I was iffy going into watching: based on the previews, it looked cute, but not that good. Well, I was way wrong. It was GOOD. I mean, it wasn't Friends, but that was a good thing. Similar tone, jokes were funny and not too forced, characters were great, excellent blend of comedy and 'drama'. I thought it was very good, and has a lot of potential!! I'm very excited!

ehhh, i thought it was OK, not the best, the story isnt as funny as the stories on FRIENDS, like the main story on friends is more interesting, and its not as entertaining without the other friends to give joey advice, i guess its better then nothing. I may stop watching JOEY and just keep watching re-runs of friends....

Let it role first. Well anyway I thought it was hilarious and funnier than the Friends pilot but thats just me. Remember, we won't see the Friends anymore, the general friends public just has to try and remember that and get used to it I suppose.

Seriously, you just have to look at it as a totally different show. And compared to a lot of the new sitcoms (ok, all the new sitcoms) out there, it's by far the best. like the reviews have been saying, it's pretty much the best new sitcom in ages.

I loved it!! I thought it was hilarious. It did make me miss "Friends" even more, though. It will take me awhile to get used to the change. Still can't wait for next week! :)

I thought it was perfect. It showed Joey's still Joey with him getting off in Dallas and picking the wrong show and failing that audition beautifully... the attacking Michael for trying to take some of his food and that he's still got his smart moments with my favorite part his speech about change. And I think it also introduced Michael and Gina good into it and their relationship with Joey and stuff can develop with Michael living with Joey... So I think it was perfect, funny and all around a great pilot episode. Great series start... If it can keep it up and not loose too many people who want it to be Friends 2 it should last a while.

That was the pilot, are you talking about the version they scrapped because of cast changing with the married neighbor? The only difference is when Joey comes home from bombing his audition he see's her obviously being a different actress and he has a Days of our Lives shirt on and theres a joke about that.. not much changed. Only in that one scene.

I liked Andrea Anders a lot; she definitely had more chemistry with JOey than Ashley Scott did.

It was okay, better than a lot of other shows out there, but in today's TV landscape that's really not saying much. LeBlanc was good, but after ten years of playing this character, he damn well better be. The girl playing his sister was good too.

Couldn't help but notice MLB's receding hairline though. Maybe that can be an episode of Joey -- Tune in next week! Joey gets plugs! ;)

I saw it, like I said, theres no confirmation on anything reguardless what it says. People believe everything they read and see just because they want it to happen. Read between the lines. Theres nothing in that article convincing a legit guest appearance. WB didnt announce and neither did NBC therefore its not official and probably not at all true. Just a bad rumor.

I saw it yesterday, and it was better than i expected. It was strange seeing Joey without the other five, it was like there's something missing in this show. It was pretty good tho, some jokes were a bit dumb but overall quite impressed.

Matt was great as Joey, as always.:D I didn't care for Drea De Matteo as Joey's sister. :( I would of liked to see someone that would of complimented Joey more. Still keeping The Joey show on my list of shows to watch.:)

I just downloaded it and I LOVED it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I kind hoped there would be a scene with the others, but I really liked, I think the show has potencial. I hpoe it stays in the air for long, because it's something to remember Friends, and I really miss it.

Can anybody tell me where I can get dialogs of all cut scenes? I'm brazilian and I'm doing all subtitles in english, but in this episode there are a lot of uncut scenes that are not in the script I got. Please!! I'm just learning english and I can't understand they talking!!

It feels weird...very weird!
For years now i've been use to see JOEY say " hey guys I have a new audition!" and now he's a uncle.

Anyways ,dont get me wrong , I loved the first episode , I thought it was hilarious BUT I don't buy the house Joey lives in . Just too unrealistic.
