Friends month in Belgium

VT4 is a channel on Belgian television. It has been broadcasting Friends for ten years in a row and as of today it will show the very last episodes of Friends. To thank the fans for 10 years of support they will give the fans to chance to choose between 2 episodes every day for the whole month of November. Fans will get the chance to win a few dvd's.

wow.tht must be gr8.we also have a channel here in pakistan. 1st thy jus used to play friends all day but now thy have added more shows to it and ppl have 2 vote thorugh the callin thingy for the show thy wanna see n most of the time thy vote for friends soo its always on soo i get 2 see it alot.yay!

In Turkey, they show two episodes every day, we're kinda lucky if you put it that way.

Yeah, here in India too, we get to see a lot of Friends episodes on Tv...Friends is on air on two differnt channels, each of which show an episode every weekday...so that makes it 10 episodes per week...Ain't that cool? But they haven't even started with the 10th season here!! But I've watched it on CDs though, and also the 7 episodes of Joey...Waiting to download tonight's episode.........

yepp, here in sweden we also have two episods every day (monday-friday), bur on wednesday we have three.. two old and one new :D

friends only plays here twice a day but it used to play 4 times and on thursdays when the new episodes came on it was on 5 times a day...that was the best!!! but now im back to lousy 2

Actually, in Belgium, most people speak Dutch. We have French and German too, but the German part isn't really that significant. We can choose our favourite episode each night on VT4, which is a Dutch channel. The 'Friends' episodes on one of the French channels are dubbed, like they do with everything. I'm glad we don't do that.

We just have 2 episodes per week in spain, n only ppl hu have "canal +" can watch it (i dont :( )
But, u no wat....now they're showing season 9!!! Friends hasnt ended here yet!!!:o I'm downloading all season 9 and looking forward to seeing season 10...

I see I have a colleague from Belgium on this board. Always nice to know that such a small country has several members on this board. :-)

Thank god, VT4 has always been kind for its Friends fans and therefore has always shown the episodes on a phenomenal timeslot. But then again Friends is one of the most important shows for VT4. I've read in a newspaper that they wille be showing Joey on Kanaal 2. That sucks big time because they don't show a lot of interest in foreign shows...

I'm currently downloading all episodes of Joey's spin-off, 'cause your right about Kanaal2. Sometimes they even stop airing shows without any warning (happened a few times when I watched the X-files)

Tonight VT4 shows the very last episode of Friends.
What kinda bummes me out is knowing that VT4 is not going to give the very last episode of Friends a special threatment. They will only be showing the first episode so people can see how much the friends have changed in all those years. I kinda hoped that they would be showing some specials such as the one with all the other ones or maybe some bloopers. Too bad, I guess I'm obliged to buy the seasons on dvd to get some behind footage and some cut scenes then.

yeah, I was also hoping for a special (maybe bought from the NBC-network) or bloopers...

I think they just will re-air all episodes starting tonight, not just the first one...

I'm also planning to get the DVD-box, I read it would be in stores in Belgium in December, but can anybody confirm that?

It's rather expansive: €250 (or €275). Don't know if there are any extras
