Rachel tossed and turned in her bed. She moved every way she could think of to try and get comfortable and then she just gave up! "I won't be sleeping for the next eighteen years." She let her mind wander over what had happened today and as she did she frowned. "Well, she was horny." Rachel said aloud as if there was someone in the room with her. "Oh, a Paleontologist who works out, you're just like Indiana Jones." Rachel said in a disgusted, mocking tone. "I can tell you work out." "Ugh! if she wants to rub someone let her go rub someone else dammit!" Rachel sighed in frustration. Then she thought about when Ross returned from their date.

"Not because I want to date you, I don't want you to date anybody." Ouch! She had to admit that was harsh, still "I'm about to have his baby any day." She defended herself to the empty room. God, he was sweet though, as fast as she said the words he agreed to them. "Okay, I won't date I'll be right here with you." Then that hug of his, Where did he get that hug anyway? It wasn't just a hug, it was more like an event. She could still feel him holding her tight and who was he kidding? He knew when he buried his face in her hair that it drove her crazy! What was he trying to do to her anyway? Was he trying to make her miss him? Because if so, well that was so not going to work! "Yeah right." said Rachel once again aloud trying to push thoughts of him out of her mind. He didn't want her anyway, he was just teasing earlier when he almost trapped her into saying that she wanted something more. "I don't want something more! Do I?"

"Well, even if I might he doesn't" Rachel thought as she moved to get out of bed. "You so want him!" she heard her inner voice say "Oh shut up!" she answered back as she padded out to the kitchen for a midnight run on the refrigerator. She stood in front of the refrigerator door trying to decide what she wanted. "What do I want? What do I want?" "What you want isn't in there sweetheart, try the bedroom on the left." "Shut up" said Rachel to that pain of an inner voice. Really, since when had she started hearing voices? She had been spending entirely too much time around Phoebe!

As she sat finishing a blueberry muffin that Ross had brought her from the coffee house suddenly she saw him standing there before her in the kitchen. Hair standing up, and wearing a T shirt that showed off the fact that he had indeed been working out. Rachel began to feel hot and she smiled up at him weakly. "I'm sorry. Did I wake you?"

"I couldn't sleep and I guess I had the same idea as you. I thought I would come out here and finish the blueberry muffin."

The sound of his voice sent a shiver through her. Filled with sleep and so soft and sweet. For a moment she remembered the many mornings his was the first voice she heard. Sit down Ross, I won't bite." " I bet you won't" said that inner voice of Rachel's once more.
"Go away!" Rachel said in frustration. "Rach, you just told me to sit down." Rachel smiled sheepishly. I did, I don't know what's going on with me! Pregnancy brain I guess."

"How are you feeling? Is there anything I can get you? Ross grasps Rachel hand in his and as he had been doing lately, he kisses it lightly. "You're sweet Ross." Ross looks at her with that boyish smile that's working it's magic on her. "I am? Why do you say that?
"You just are, you're a gentleman and there aren't too many of those left. When I first lived with Joey he refused to put up a shower curtain for a month.

Ross gives her a look and asks "Rach, he didn't see you?" Rachel looks at him sensing that he's jealous.

"No, no he didn't Ross. Does the thought of that upset you or something?" Ross looks at her seriously now.

"Of course it would bother me Rach. You're my."

"I'm your what Ross?"

"I just don't want him seeing you that's all and I'm relieved to know you don't reciprocate his feelings Rach. I mean, I'm sorry for Joey but the thought of the two of you together."

Ross and Rachel both sense that the conversation is turning serious. "Ross are you jealous of Joey?"

"No, but he should leave you alone. He knows how I feel about you." Ross notices as soon as he let's slip and tries to cover his mistake. "I mean that there's so much history between us."

"That's not it at all Geller! You're jealous admit it, admit it right now!"

"Rachel are you going to share that muffin with me or not?"

"Give him whatever he wants, that is a fine man right in front of you." that inner voice tells Rachel. Rachel sighs exasperated as she splits the muffin with Ross. "Ross come on? Why can't we ever be honest with each other? Just admit that you're jealous at the thought of Joey and I and I'll leave you alone."

"Admit that you were jealous of Katie today."

"I already explained that to you Ross! I just want you to be here with me right now."

"I don't believe you Rachel."

"What? Why not!!"

"Well for one thing you called her a horny."

"OK! Well Ross, she was coming over here, asking you on a date, with her blouse half unbuttoned and her "Oh Ross, I love Paleontology, Oh Ross or should I just call you Indiana Jones crap."

"Well, what about Joey! First of all, He's my friend and should not be trying to date you and every time I imagine him saying "Hey Rach, how you doin'?" It makes me want to punch a wall."

"Well,what about Ms. Rub, rub, rub under the table!"

"She didn't rub anything and please stop saying that Rach. why did Joey try anything with you?"

"Good because if anything of yours needs rubbing, I'll rub it!"

Ross is stunned and he looks at Rachel with the same stunned look in his eyes from earlier in the day when they were joking about starting something more.

"Rachel, are you saying that you were jealous? Rach do you.."

Rachel reaches for Ross' hand, She interlaces their fingers and looks at their hands together for a long moment, She loved the feeling of his hand in hers, always had.

"Yes, I was jealous, and no Joey didn't try anything. I could never do that to you. Besides I don't want Joey."

"You want me?" Ross voice is full of confusion and hope.

Rachel moves out of her chair and walks right next to Ross who is seated. She strokes his face and he looks up at her. "Damn those puppy dog eyes of yours Geller they get me every time. She leans down and kisses Ross and the kiss at first, tentative, careful becomes deeper and more passionate.

Rachel sits on Ross knee now and they stare at one another for a long time and then Ross leans in kissing her once more. This is how they remain, kissing one another, she stroking his face, he pushing her hair gently out of her eyes.

As Ross is kissing her neck, Rachel cannot hold in a loud moan "Ross" she says in a whisper.

"I love you Rachel." Ross admits now, and he doesn't care. He continues to kiss her hungrily.

"I love you too Ross." She can't believe they've said the words to one another after hiding it from themselves and each other for so long.

Ross moves to get up now and offers his hand to Rachel. They walk back to Ross' bedroom where very tenderly Ross undresses her. "You look so beautiful." Rachel shakes her head no. "I look fat Ross."

"No, you look like heaven to me."

Rachel shakes her head, she can't believe he thinks she looks beautiful at nine months pregnant. She goes to say something but he stops her with a soft kiss and he whispers in her ear "You're beautiful and you're mine."

Rachel is pressed as closely to him as she can be considering their ever growing little girl. Ross feels her hands at the hem of his shirt and he feels her hands now stroking his skin. There was no other woman who touched and kissed him in the same way she did. It's as if she knew just the right places and it was always, always amazing with her. He slipped his shirt all the way off and she happily filled him with soft, open mouthed kisses. She sighed as she felt the muscles in his arms and when he opened his mouth she respond passionately.

Ross gently lay her back on his bed "Are you sure this is okay? I mean you feel okay?
"Ross, it's more then okay. I'm fine baby and I want you, so much."

"I've wanted this for so long Rachel."

Those are the last words, now just the sounds of gentle lovemaking fill the silence in the room.

When it's over Ross pulls the blankets tightly around them and closes his eyes enjoying the feeling of having her once more in his arms.

"I love being in your arms. I want to be the only one who."

"Rubs everything? Ross smiles

Rachel moves to his neck biting him there

"Hey! Green!"

"You're the one who started it Geller!"

"I want you to be the only one too Rach, I can't wait to tell everyone we're together. Joey better keep away."

"No! Ross let's wait okay? I like the idea of having you all to myself for awhile."

"I like the sound of that too."

"Ross, do you have to work tomorrow morning?"

"No, no I have no classes but you know I have to work out. what with being like Indiana Jones and all."

Ross and Rachel break into fits of laughter now.

"Come here my big, strong paleontologist. I'm not done with you yet."

Ross and Rachel sink into a passionate kiss.. and that's how The One With the Cooking Class should have ended, I think!

It annoyed me to no end that Rachel was so demanding of Ross. She had absolutely no right to tell him he couldn't date. She dated when she found out she was having the baby right? There were many, many times Rachel was mean and demanding of Ross. He is the sweetest of the sweet though and he agrees to her demands, because he so deeply loves her. It's good that Rachel had Ross, because another man would never deal with her behavior

Oh, yes a woman can have sex during pregnancy. Remember that in TOW Rache's late as an example, the Doctor advises she and Ross to use that little home remedy in order to move Emma along?

Chloe and Joey! That would be great, that way they could both go away and leave Ross and Rachel alone! I could not stand Joey and Rachel together! It disgusted me

I don't know what else to say, but that sentence describes very well what I wouldwrite to you so the only thing left is that I really enjoyed with this one and that I hope the episode ended that way too. The whole conversation about being jealous and Indiana Jones should lead to something like this.

It was great the conversation they had in the kitchen and also every part of the fanfic. So continue like this, showing us you're a great witer and that you want to share with us what you wanted to happen. You're amazing!

It's "siesta" time here and things are quiet since half of the family is still to come so I've managed to use my laptop
I've just read your fanfic and as I told you I'm gonna review it now

This one-shot was so hot!!Just by reading the title I had an idea what episode it was about and I thought of jealous Rachel right away

The beginning fits the real episode very well with Rachel still thinking about what had happened that day at the store with that woman hitting on HER Ross and also about all the "teasing" between she and Ross wanting something more.

I love that convo with Rachel and her inner voice making her realize she wanted Ross and then the midnight encounter with Ross in the kitchen was so amazing. It was funny when you said the "rubbing" thing I couldn't stop laughing picturing Rachel saying that to Ross But it was also deep as they were talking about their feelings even if they wanted to admit it or not. Smart how you used both Katie and Joey to make R&R feel jealous and admit their feelings for each other.

Then the whole kissing part was awesome, so sweet but passionate at the same time I love how you wrote the lovemaking scene Ross being tender and Rachel wanting him, saying I love you's.

I think the ending was brilliant bringing the rubbing thing up again and also the Indiana Jones joke. Sister, you made me laugh when I read the "working out" part because I thought about two other certain people who in one of our convos happened to work out with each other too

Anyway, I loved it and I hope you have a nice day sister. I don't know if I'll be able to get online later again.

Absolutely lovely. I mean seriously how cute is Ross? Rachel is just the luckiest right? I was watching an episode last night( TOW Where Rachel's sister babysits I think) and I never really noticed it before but David looks really good in a suit. Anyways I loved it and it was so sweet and romantic and I'm probably going to read it again after I finish reviewing. .

OMG I definitely agree love ur version of this episode soooo much better, I really wish they got RnR back together sooner on the show just like u've done here. I love how they both admit to being jealous and only wanting each other.
LOL, I also loved the idea of Rachels inner voice telling her what she really feels, all it's comments put a smile on my face.
