Valeant Pharmaceuticals Re-Signs Courteney Cox as Kinerase(R) Spokesperson

Valeant Pharmaceuticals International (NYSE:VRX) today announced the signing of actress Courteney Cox to a one-year contract extension to serve as the exclusive spokesperson for the company's Kinerase(R) brand in the United States and Europe. Terms of the agreement with Cox were not disclosed.
"Courteney has been an incredibly positive advocate for Kinerase and a true corporate partner," said Wesley P. Wheeler, president, North America and research and development. "Kinerase has gained global recognition in the time that we have worked with Courteney. We have also added 30 new products and have grown the business by 85 percent. We are very proud of what we have accomplished together."
This will be Cox's third year representing the brand. She is actively involved in the expansion of the product line and collaborated with skin care and beauty experts in the development of Kinerase Multi-Vitamins, Minerals and Nutrients, that the company launched in July of 2006.
"I love the Kinerase product line. Having the opportunity to be involved in product development and planning has been incredible, and I feel I'm a part of the Valeant team," said Cox. "Kinerase simply works. I have been using Kinerase since 2001 and love what we are doing with the line."
Kinerase is one of the fastest-growing brands in the professional skin care category, according to the Kline Report on Professional Skin Care Products, published in January 2007. Kinerase Cream recently won numerous industry awards including Allure Magazine's 2006 Best of Beauty Editors' Choice Award for Best Anti-Aging Treatment and InStyle Magazine's 2007 Award for Best Everyday Moisturizer.
The key ingredient in Kinerase is Kinetin, a nature-identical plant growth factor that allows the skin to retain more moisture, making skin feel firmer, healthier, and improving its overall appearance. In a clinical study of Kinerase Lotion, 90 percent of participants reported an improvement in the texture of their skin and 87 percent reported an overall improvement in the appearance of their skin.

'Friends' star Jennifer Aniston has supported Angelina Jolie in her adoption endeavours.
Aniston has become the latest backer of the 'Original Sin' actress, who has been severely criticized for her speedy adoptions.
The California beauty has reportedly reached out to Jolie and sent a congratulations card to Angie and Brad.
According to Radar, "a sidebar claiming Jolie is (hacked off) that Jen Aniston sent them a gift and card upon their most recent adoption." ... Read More ...
