Aniston Files for Divorce From Pitt

LOS ANGELES - Hollywood power couple Jennifer Aniston (news) and Brad Pitt are officially calling it quits after 4 1/2 years of marriage.
Aniston filed for divorce Friday, citing irreconcilable differences with Pitt. The "Friends" star and the "Ocean's Twelve" hunk released a joint statement in January saying they were formally separating.
The couple married on July 29, 2000, and have no children. It was the first marriage for both.
Calls to Aniston's attorney, Robert Kaufman, and to Pitt's publicist, Cindy Guagenti, were not immediately returned Friday evening.

Jennifer Aniston Thrills Fan with Oscars Makeover

 Jennifer Aniston helped make an Arizona teenager's Oscars experience extra special by surprising her with a red carpet makeover.
Like many viewers of breakfast show Good Morning America, the former Friends star was inspired by Ashley Tang's determination to become a top student, despite losing both her parents.
And when she heard the show was planning to turn the wannabe broadcaster into their on-site reporter at the 77th Academy Awards on Sunday, she asked if she could help.
Aniston made her first TV appearance since splitting from husband Brad Pitt in January by thrilling Tang and turning up unannounced to help her pick out her Oscars outfit. The actress then presented the 18-year-old with a lucky "guardian angel" diamond bracelet.
Aniston told her young fan, "You are an inspiration, my dear. I'll tell you what, the world needs to see more people like you."

Matthew Perry Hospitalized

 It seems Matthew Perry may be having a hard time getting by without the help of his Friends.
The actor spent 24 hours in a Los Angeles hospital last week after he suffered a negative reaction to a prescribed medication, his rep confirmed to People magazine.
No other details of the stay were given.
Perry has publicly struggled in the past with addiction to pain medication and alcohol abuse. He completed two separate rehab stints in 1997 and 2001 and was hospitalized in 2000 for pancreatitis related to his heavy drinking and drugging ways. ... Read More ...

WB OKs LeBlanc's 'Prince' Pilot

LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - The WB Network has given the green light to "The Prince," a drama pilot executive-produced by "Joey" star Matt LeBlanc and "Everwood" creator Greg Berlanti.
The soap revolves around a rich New York family and the relationship between the father and the younger son following the older son's death. It was written by feature scribe Jesse Wigutow ("It Runs in the Family").

ROSS and Rachel's first snog in hit show Friends has been voted the best ever kissing scene on TV.
The loveable pair, played by David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston, topped the survey by America's TV Guide.
The couple brought tears to our eyes when they locked lips in their local coffee shop Central Perk in 1995.
And their kissing scene has beaten and Diane (Shelley Long) and Sam’s (Ted Danson) Cheers season finale romance in 1983, and Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) and Mr Big's (Chris Noth) famous smooch in Sex And The City in 2004.

Media are still chasing Brad and Jen

 It has been nearly a month since Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt announced their breakup, but that hasn't stopped the media from analyzing the couple's every move.
For starters: Where are they living? Not together, People magazine says. Pitt is ensconced at their $13.5 million Beverly Hills mansion; Aniston is holed up at a Los Angeles-area hotel. She's looking for a Malibu beach house near Friends pal Courteney Cox. So is Pitt, People says.
The couple had dinner Jan. 26 at L.A.'s L'Orangerie restaurant, but it was just a friendly evening out, not a reconciliation, People says.
Is there any chance they could reunite? "We are hoping they get back together," Pitt's grandmother, Betty Russell, 82, told People. "That's our prayer. They were so perfect together."
